If there’s one remake I’m actually looking forward to, it’s Adam Gierasch’s take on the 1988 classic Night of the Demons. The original flick totally rocked, and Adam is just disturbed enough to really make this one work!

Seven Arts Distribution announced today that the movie has been slated for an October 9th, 2009 release. The remake, written by Gierasch and Jace Anderson, sports itself quite the genre pedigree as evidenced by its cast of Diora Baird, Shannon Elizabeth, Monica Keena, Bobbi Sue Luther, Jonathan Beach, Michael Copon, Tiffany Shepis, and Edward Furlong.

So what’s it about? “Angela Feld is throwing the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties at the infamous Broussard Mansion in New Orleans, where dark events transpired almost a century ago. But when the packed party gets busted by the police, Angela and her friends Maddie, Lily, Suzanne, Colin, Dex and Jason are the only ones left behind. Soon Colin and Angela make a grisly discovery in the basement and inexplicable events start to take place. With the mansion gates mysteriously locked, the seven find themselves trapped for the night…and soon they’re fighting ancient demons for their very souls.

Miss Diora stepped out, her first event of 2009 to the GBK’s Oscar Lounge At SLS Hotel (Day 2). She looks really beautiful, and has dyed her hair the blondest we’ve seen so far. Do you like the new look? I have only found a few pics but atleast it’s something!

The trailer for Star Trek was released a little while ago. It doesn’t feature anything with Diora (not surprising as it’s a small role). But thought fans would be interested to see it. In the film releasing on May 8, 2009, Diora plays The Green Girl.

Wow! Miss Diora Baird was the #1 searched for person/place/thing today on Yahoo!, congrats to her! It’s great to see people taking such interest in Miss Baird.
